Accident Avoiding System using Embedded Systems
- With the increase in the population in the world,the vehicle users are also getting increased but the transport facilities remain the same.As we are in the modern world,people want to reach the destination earlier.Because of this,they have to speed up the vehicle.Due to this,accidents occur and the precious human lives are lost.The Project "Accident Avoiding System" will be the best solution for this problem.This project utilizes the embedded approach.
- A System is way of working ,organizing or doing one or many tasks according to a fixed plan,program or a set of rules. An Embedded system is one that has computer with the software embedded in it as one of its most important component.
- There are two main reasons for the occurrence of accidents.The First One is the unawareness of the vehicle coming in front of our vehicle.Another reason is the incorrect decision of the driver that it will be safe to overtake the vehicle going in front without collision with the vehicle coming towards it.
- The Project will provide the solution by providing two alert signals to the driver.One will be given when any vehicle comes towards it.Another Signals will indicate whether the vehicle can overtake the vehicle going in front without any collision with the vehicle coming towards it.
- The basic principle is calculating the actual overtaking time and the actual collision time by using the two distance sensors.After getting the necessary parameters into the micro controller,the required calculations are made and finally an alert signal will be provided while overtaking.
