ARM based Car Security System

• In this Project,a Low cost extensible framework for embedded smart car security system is proposed,which consists of a Face Detection SubSystem(FDS),a GPS(Global Positioning System)module,a GSM(Global System for Mobile Communication)module and a control platform .

• The FDS is based on PCA(Principle Component Analysis)algorithm and can detect faces in cars when the owner is not using the car.The Other modules transmit necessary information to the users and help to keep eyes on cars all the time,even when the car is lost.This system prototype is built on base of embedded platform in which ARM7 - LPC2148(works at 100MHz) controls all the processes.This System is much cheaper and smarter than traditional ones.
